Sarah Jordan is an experienced editor, journalist, copywriter, PR and content marketing specialist, working in the luxury sectors (jewellery, watches, hospitality and travel).
With experience in marketing, social media management, branding and event management, Sarah can quickly and efficiently develop communication strategies for brands and businesses. She is also a confident public speaker and presenter, having hosted the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 2015 in front of 800 jewellery industry guests, the Professional Jeweller Shop Floor Stars ceremony, and a number of conferences and industry workshops.
At International Jewellery London 2015, Sarah led panel discussions on a number of topics, including ‘Retail in the Data Age’ and the ‘Power of Visual Merchandising’. She will also interview key jewellery industry representatives live on stage as part of the International Jewellery London 2016 ‘In Conversation With’ series.
Sarah is also an active guest lecturer at a number of UK universities, especially the University of Central Lancashire and the University of Lincoln.
Her freelance experience includes working with Retail Jeweller, WatchPro, JFW magazine, British Airways, Rio Tinto Diamonds With a Story, Woman & Home magazine, Shah Luxury, Bright Sparks United, Eve’s Watch, Talent Innovations, JewelStreet and the Baselworld Brand Book.
Sarah is an active brand consultant and content specialist, helping brands such as Vamp London and Cardinal of London to develop storytelling concepts, brand stories and strategies to ensure uniqueness in a competitive marketplace.
In addition, Sarah is the commercial content editor at Heart.co.uk – part of the Global group of radio stations. This position involves developing content marketing strategies, writing sponsored content and building native advertising campaigns for national and international brands.
Before embarking on a freelance career Sarah was the Group Editor of Professional Jeweller magazine and its three supplement magazines; The Professional Jeweller Hot 100, The Luxury Report and BenchPro. She was also responsible for a number of editorial supplements, including Shop Floor Stars and Collections of the Year.
Sarah has a master’s degree with distinction in magazine journalism from the University of Central Lancashire, an NCTJ diploma in journalism and a BA Hons degree in History from the University of York.
